What’s New on the 2018 Elantra GT
With the 2018 model, Hyundai appears to have done a great job of keeping the key characteristics drivers have loved about the Elantra GT while still updating it with some exciting changes. The design, though familiar, has an overall lower and wider stance, delivering a more aggressive appearance. Other design changes include standard vertical LED daytime running lights and available high/low beam LED headlights.
On a practical level, the 2018 Elantra GT has even more cargo space than its predecessor. While the 2017 model has 51 cu ft of cargo room with the rear seats folded down, the 2018 model can deliver a maximum of 55.1 cu ft of cargo space, surpassing many other options in its class.
We also can’t ignore some of the other highlights for the 2018 model year. These include available dual-zone climate control, available wireless smartphone charging, Amazon Alexa Blue Link remote starting and Blue Link heated features.
