Back at the New York International Auto Show last month, Hyundai not only introduced the brand-new Venue mini-crossover but also an all-new, totally redesigned version of the Sonata for the 2020 model year. With a release date of late this year (retail sales are expected to start around October), we are stoked to be able to offer this all-new sedan to shoppers here in the Palm Bay area. We went over some speculated specs & features earlier this year, but let’s go over some of the model’s official highlights to give you a better idea of what it will have to offer.

“Sonata is our signature product. Having been one of our first and most successful nameplates, Sonata is our legacy, and it needs to be special and memorable in all attributes. Sonata signifies our vision for future Hyundai designs, great active safety systems and cutting-edge technology that is effortless.”

Specs & Features
Obviously, the Sonata has been redesigned from the ground up, you can see that just from a single glance at the sedan’s exterior. It’s more sophisticated and sportier than ever before, adopting a four-door coupe appearance. Thanks to the new vehicle platform that the 2020 Sonata is being built on, other areas such as safety, efficiency and performance have improved as well.
There are a pair of incredible features that will be found in the 2020 Sonata which have never been found in a Hyundai vehicle before. The first is the Digital Key, which we touched on a couple of months ago, but to remind you: it will enable a driver to do things like unlock the car from their smartphone. The second is Hidden Lighting Lamps. The headlights, when not illuminated, turn chrome and blend right into the rest of the front end.
If you think you’ll be interested in a 2020 Hyundai Sonata when they become available, be sure to let us know. We’ll make sure you stay apprised of updates as they become available.
