“Interestingly, there’s a happy vibe that I feel is common with many Kona drivers. Our design inspiration stems from this positive spirit, and this is a dedication to all the adventurers out there who explore life with a smile.”

Design Enhancements

The subcompact crossover’s exterior design is sleeker and more sophisticated than its previous iterations. This is made possible by plenty of enhancements to the front and rear ends of the vehicle. Up front, protective cladding panels have been added to draw attention to the front end, which also features wider, and thinner LED daytime running lights, a distinct center grille, a bumper that connects directly to the wheel arches, and a lower bumper that blends right into the skid plate. In the back, the taillights were redesigned to offer horizontally stretched graphics, creating reflections of the lights on the front end. The rear bumper is made from a contrasting material, as is the front bumper.

Upgraded Features & Tech

In addition to the design enhancements, several of features and technologies have been upgraded to further enhance the vehicle’s convenience, connectivity and more. For example, the rear seat has been expanded to offer more leg room to rear passengers, while the cargo hold offers more space for your belongings than the previous model as well. The latest versions of Hyundai Blue Link and Hyundai SmartSense have also been added.

Perhaps most exciting of all, though, is the introduction of the first-ever Kona N Line model, just the latest in a long string of new additions to the N Division lineup. We’ll be sure to fill you in on all of its details as soon as they become available!
