“Sonata celebrates [its] innovative coupe-like silhouette. A short overhang, sloping roofline and low deck lid create a balanced feel, and Hyundai’s signature chrome accent now goes all the way into the hood, making it look even longer. It also has LED lighting built in. These cues bring the Sensuous Sportiness design to life.”

Preliminary Specs & Features
Naturally, very little is known at this point. Hyundai has stated that the all-new Sonata was inspired by the Le Fil Rouge concept from last year, which is fairly exciting. Some exact details that we do know thus far are that the vehicle’s height has been lowered by 30 mm while the width has been extended by 25 mm, length by 45 mm, and wheelbase by 35 mm. So, it’s a bit shorter but larger overall.
Most info that we know already revolves around the design. We do know of some features as well though, as Hyundai has confirmed the new Sonata will feature Daytime Running Lights embedded within Hidden Lighting Lamps. The design has also led to extra storage space and roominess in the interior, which are obviously nice bonuses. We’ll be sure to fill you in further as soon as more information becomes available!
