Inside the 2019 Hyundai Accent
From the broad front grille to the spiffy wheels and everything in between, the Accent has a knack for style and comfort. It’s a car that looks smart and is, featuring a proximity key and push to start options for great functionality. The proximity key can even open the trunk automatically.
This vehicle is also compatible with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™, allowing you to access apps and navigation from your phone through the Accent’s touchscreen and voice controls.
With a 1.6L 4-cylinder engine, the Accent logs esteemed fuel economy — up to 38 mpg on the highway with the optional 6-speed automatic transmission SHIFTRONIC® and Active ECO system. This car delivers steady driving in the city and on the highway, which makes it a great car for commuting.
When properly equipped, the 2019 Accent has earned a Top Safety Pick recognition from the IIHS. This is thanks to smart safety tech like Hyundai’s Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist system. The car uses sensors to detect when traffic ahead is slowing down or that a collision may be imminent. If you don’t take any action, the Accent will automatically apply emergency braking. This feature isn’t offered on similar cars from competitors.
