You’ve probably heard about the IIHS safety ratings that Hyundai has been receiving for all of its vehicles, like the 2019 Veloster. All twelve of the vehicles on the brand’s lineup have received Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+ ratings, even the NEXO Fuel Cell Vehicle. Now, the NHTSA has begun releasing its ratings for the 2020 model year. The 2020 Hyundai Kona, Santa Fe and Tucson each earned 5-Star Overall Safety Ratings. (more…)
Over the past few years, Hyundai has made a very obvious and conscious effort to enhance the safety technology available in their vehicles. The industry as a whole, in conjunction with entities such as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Consumer Reports and even Congress, has strived toward not only improving these technologies and making their availability widespread, but actually requiring certain technologies to be standard.
