There are hundreds of prestigious automotive industry publications out there, among which AutoPacific is certainly near the top. The future-oriented marketing research and product-consulting firm recently released its annual Vehicle Satisfaction Research study awards, among which two Hyundai vehicles claimed segment prizes. The Hyundai Accent was named Best-in-Class Economy Car while the Hyundai Tucson was named Best-in-Class Compact Crossover Sport Utility Vehicle.

What goes into the studies?
After receiving the results of their annual New Vehicle Satisfaction Survey, AutoPacific analysts take a look at the data and attempts to identify the top-performing vehicles across the board. They take a particular interested in aspects such as reliability, quality and, of course, owner satisfaction. Through the years, the company has had over 300 vehicle clinics and 4,000 focus groups, so they certainly have a pretty good idea of what they’re talking about, to say the least.
2020 Hyundai Accent & Tucson Updates
For the new 2020 model year, both the Accent and Tucson offer some minor enhancements over the previous iterations – which would’ve been the models in these studies. The Accent now has a new powertrain and transmission combo from Smartstream, while the Tucson has repackaged certain features and refreshed the different exterior color options it has to offer.
