As if seeing 20 advanced animatronic dinosaurs isn’t enough, the dinosaur exhibit at Brevard Zoo (located at 8225 North Wickham Road right here in Melbourne) also features a wide array of fun, exciting and educational activities to go along with its prehistoric superstars. These activities include presentations from Dr. Dino (Chris DeLorey Director of Education for Brevard Zoo and real-life fossil hunter), Prehistoric Nighttime Safaris, Jurassic Overnight Expeditions, Dino-Might Night Hikes, Donuts with Dinos events, Dinner with Dinos events, Dinosaur Camps, and a Jr. Paleontologist Series that teaches budding dinosaur experts everything they need to know about what paleontologists do – while also letting them try out their skills as they dig for fossils! It should also be noted that this exhibit is not included in the price of admission, but instead costs an extra $4 a person to enter – though kinds under the age of 3 are free. It should also be noted that if you can’t make it to the zoo to see the dinosaurs, be sure to keep an eye out while you’re out and about, as the Brevard Zoo dinosaurs are known to take little trips around the city.
