Spooky Halloween Paddles

It doesn’t get much more socially distant than being in a one-person kayak, does it? The Space Coast Paddling Society is hosting a spooky Halloween-themed paddle event the night of Halloween, in which attendees are encouraged but not required to dress up in the spirit of the holiday.

Boot at the Zoo

This always-popular event at the Brevard Zoo is returning for 2020 with a few changes to encourage social distancing. For starters, it’s moving to daytime instead of at night. Attendees of Boo at the Zoo will be able to participate in all kinds of activities, including some on the Monarch Migration Trail, a scavenger hunt in the Zoo, and more. The event takes place on several days in October from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., including October 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 24-25th, and the 31st.

Titusville Playhouse

You can head to Titusville to enjoy two Halloween-themed musicals throughout October. Evil Dead the Musical – which was inspired by the trilogy of cult classic films The Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness – will take place on October 9th and 18th, while the iconic Rocky Horror Picture Show will take place on October 23rd and 31st.

Finally, the Running Zone Foundation will be hosting a Halloween-inspired race called the Ghostly Gecko 5K at 6:30 p.m. on October 2rth at the Eau Gallie Civic Center in Melbourne, FL. Head to their website to get all the details on the event.

However you decide to celebrate Halloween this year, we simply hope you enjoy yourself and stay safe. Happy Halloween!
