Advantages of the 2019 Elantra

That’s not a massive leg up, but it’s an advantage nonetheless, and one that would probably be noticeable in a side-by-side comparison on the road.

When it comes to fuel efficiency, the two sedan might as well be identical thanks to identical combined fuel economy ratings of 31 mpg. However, the Elantra is slightly more efficient on the highway while the Sentra gets more efficiency through the city. Each is only a 1 mpg difference, so not a huge change either way. The final row of the table highlights the similarity in space, as both sedans offer the usual seating of up to five.
